We’ve got new fiction by Darren J. Akerman, Larry Hodges, Steven Sawicki, Simone Martel, Tim McDaniel, Gary Cuba, Therese Arkenberg, and Mark Lee Pearson.

This batch includes a surprising sample of the surreal, the weird, and the outright ludicrous. Most notable was Larry Hodges The Meteor Always Strikes Once, which got some giggles out of me despite — or perhaps because of — its shameless flaunting of stereotypes. I also enjoyed Therese Arkenberg’s Mother, an Adam and Eve story with a sweet and somewhat plaintive tone, and Mark Lee Pearson’s Hideki and the Gnomes.
